CSP Alumni Ambassadors

2021 marks a special milestone in the history of the Caux Scholars Program. It is the year when we celebrate our 30th anniversary.

Over the years, we have been constantly exploring ways in which the scholars can sustain and implement the learnings and experiences from CSP, once they return to their home countries. To materialize this and help in facilitating several other goals of our scholars, we have brought forth the Global Alumni Initiative Network (GAIN). This is a platform that gives the IofC alumni the chance to recreate some of the wonderful experiences they partook in as part of CSP. That might mean online webinars and discussion groups, chances for learning, career development, and networking opportunities. GAIN has been launched with the aim to give the alumni an online space where they feel empowered to talk about their work, and where they will find support. It's an incubator for changemakers in their journeys as leaders of social change.

While we have communicated with you through our newsletter, social media, and online reunions in 2020, we are now aiming to set in place more local networks in Africa, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe, Middle East, North America, South and Central America.

Accordingly, seven alumni ambassadors have been nominated and accepted their role as Alumni Ambassadors to connect with local graduates in order to:

  • Bring together the scholars from the same regions.

  • Conduct monthly sessions to address the alumni needs.

  • Organize social media engagement.

  • Promote other IofC events, collaborate with other ambassadors, and coordinate events that can be correlated among the regions.

We aim to provide a network that supports and responds to the needs of our alumni and create a sustainable platform for the alumni to be involved in.
